Always a favorite among die-hard bagistas, Rebecca Minkoff does not disappoint for spring 2009.

Rebecca Minkoff is coming at us strong with lots of color – including neon – a hefty dose of hardware, and new shapes. Speaking of new shapes, have you ever wanted a mini mini MAB? Finally, Rebecca completes the Morning After trifecta with a Morning After mini mini which is the cutest options for casual dinner or strolling the streets of Manhattan on the weekend. Another juicy offering is the Devote, which I spotted on Rebecca back in September at a fashion week event we attended. Though it’s not officially out yet, the Devote has been spotted on devoted RM girls like Lauren Conrad and Molly Sims. The semi-structured shoulder bag is a perfect way to inject tough-girl chic into your wardrobe.

I’m also predicting that after many seasons of minimal hardware by the end of summer and going into fall/winter 2009, we’re going to shift bag to grommets, hammered detailing and other hardware embellishments. So, get yours now! Rebecca also picks up on the color blocking trend – not for everyone – but I can’t wait to see how all you bagistas rock the look next season. Oh, and note all the oranges and coral - big, big trend for spring 2009.

What do you think of Rebecca Minkoff’s Spring 2009 collection? Post you comments on My Bag-a-licious Life blog.
