As April showers pour and before May flowers bloom, get
your hands on something by British accessories label
Radley. If anyone
knows how to brighten up a gloomy rainy day, it’ s those cheeky Brits.
The ten-year-old handbag line centers on sumptuous leathers, quirky
linings, and signature Westie dog charms.
Radley has long been popular in the UK and is finally preparing for its
stateside launch exclusively at Bloomingdale’s and Lord & Taylor.
The designer, formerly an architect, isn’t out to create the season’s
“it” bag. Instead, she aims to marry the color trends with timeless
silhouettes. This season’s color palette was inspired by the exotic and
includes spicy gingers, eggshell pinks, lemon yellows, and sweet
papayas. Woven hobos, barrel bags, structured totes, and cross-body bags
are delivered to bagistas who appreciate great quality and detail yet
don’t take themselves too seriously.

We especially love that all the bags come with a duster bag that doubles
as a functional weekend tote. Prices range from $165 to $595. For no
price at all, you can send all your fellow bag-a-holic friends an
adorable e-card from their website,
trulyradleydeeply.com. Charming,
eh?
