Love her or hate her, you have to admit that The Hills gal Lauren
Conrad embodies California casual chic. The reality
star-turned-fashion-designer keeps her cool while running around
L.A. in easy draped style and gently structured handbags. She even
designed a three-piece accessories collection for
Linea Pelle.
The former OC gal has recently put aside her ubiquitous black
Chanel logo tote that ex-boyfriend Jason gave her and upgraded to a classic
Chanel 2.55. But, this is one bagista who also enjoys dabbling in
the young designer market.
Lauren's arm candy du jour includes the

Designs ($335). Nothing says summer like a sweet striped bag! The
gold chain straps can also be detached, converting it into a fun
oversized clutch. A little bit nautical, a whole lotta sass.
Lauren was also spotted frolicking around town in the Lucy handbag
by CC Skye ($795). The smooth black leather, 14K gold hardware, and
braided straps are classic for the day, but edgy enough for the
latest hotspots in Hollywood. Speaking of classic and edgy…Lauren is
also a fellow Rebecca Minkoff
fan. She shot scenes for the upcoming
season of The Hills with the Matinee bag by her side.
For late nights partying with the boys, LC prefers
flirty clutches
in python and exotic skins. After all, a girl only needs some lip
gloss, cash, and her phone to store all the numbers!
