February 2, 2007Yeohlee is known for highly functional clothing and simple silhouettes. This season the designer was inspired by Antoni Gaudi, famed architect best know for his “unfinished” La Sagrada Família cathedral in Spain.

Draped in textured material such as felted woolens, featherweight silk organdy woven with undulating velvet strips, and metallic taffetas, the models truly looked like architectural marvels. From the pleating and rouching of skirts and dresses to the billowing fabric on fabulous coats, volume was the big statement. The choice of fabric was key in creating these great 3D looks that made both an entrance and exit.

Color Palette: Varying shades of grey, with some black and white

Standout Look(s): Mercury silk Lurex dress; Grey stretch wool felt low bustle coat

For The Bagista Who: prefers structure satchels to a loose hobo
