February 3, 2007—I must admit I’m not too familiar
with Venexiana, but I love that designer Kati Stern was inspired to
design when she was “restoring her second home in an important Venetian
Palazzo …. hence Venexiana a NY/Venice-base fashion company.” OK, so
you’re thinking another rich gal who wants to design? Great! No,
Venexiana really is great.
For fall 2007 the Venexiana clothing excludes the romantic elegance of
old-world Hollywood glamour which is achieved by using lux fabrics like
silk, chiffon, leather and fur – amazing fur, lots of fur! A chocolate
fur fox and mink coat that I’m sure J Lo will be wearing soon, caused a
gasp of fashion anxiety in the crowd.
