February 4, 2007—Twinkle, twinkle little star. How I wonder where you
are. But, no worries girls. The bright star of New York Fashion Week has
been found in the Twinkle by Wenlan fall 2007 collection. The adorable
designer shared her whimsical vision for the coming season which will
include delicate satin blouses and pretty frocks. Dreamy dresses
resembling light oil painting strokes softly flowed down the runway.
Layering is still a big trend, as evident in the cozy and chunky knits
that graced the models. For those who prefer a proper coat, you can
count on tweed and waist-length jackets to keep you warm. Charming knit
berets and fun tights completed the looks.
Color Palette: cream, periwinkle, dove gray, taupe, navy, and some
black thrown in for good measure.
Standout Look: cream dress with a yummy cranberry cardigan cinched
with a black belt
For The Bagista Who: will be sporting a
crème brulle
colored shoulder bag in a semi-loose shape and soft, washed lambskin
…. Doesn’t’ that sound appetizing?
