February 4, 2007—The Charlotte Ronson girl looks like she just rolled out of bed. But in reality, we all know it takes a bevy of backstage blow-drying and blush applying to look so perfectly undone. An array of bed-headed beauties took to the stage at The Box, an East Village locale that’s yet to be publicly open – translation: I’m so cool I have to have my show in a place that hasn’t opened to the laymen yet.

In keeping with the shabby chic nature of the venue, Ronson’s line was fireside cozy with a lived-in appeal. Long sweaters were instantly transformed into baby doll dresses over form fitting jeans. Oversized sweaters with leather bound buttons and plaid jumper dresses were paired with flannel baseball caps and snuggly down vests. To keep you warm on those chilly autumn nights Ronson offered heather melon capes and navy blue toggle coats topped off with a signature flannel cap.

While Ronson’s models often looked as if they were playing dress up in their boyfriends’ sweaters, the collection was still feminine casual. A Charlotte Ronson girl is not the type to torture her feet in four-inch heels or spend hours perfecting her lip-gloss, but nevertheless she’s still equally as beautiful.

Swag Bag: A CD of the awesome tunes picked out by Ronson’s sis, Samantha, that accompanied Charlotte’s designs onstage. Guests also scored invites to the shows after party at Marquee!

For the Bagista Who: always gets compliments on the no-name hobo she scooped up on her vacation in Prague – don’t you just hate those girls who always get it right even when they think they’re being non-fashiony?!
