June Chang was born in Taiwan where her family used to have a fine jewelry business. “I was amazed by just watching my grandmother executing her own sketches into each individual piece of art.” After working several years as a business analyst, Chang decided to follow her passion for design and spent three years traveling and searching for unique materials to enrich her vision.
CHia was established in spring 2005 to be modern, sophisticated and yet playful with a twist of European flair. Each piece of CHia handbags is carefully handmade of luxurious Italian deer skins, cowhides and lamb skins with fascinating craftsmanship and attention to details.
